You would think that someone who sent regular updates to an email list 10 miles long during trips overseas would have started a blog long before 2009. Yeah, that didn't happen. I thought about blogging about the wedding planning. Nope. I thought I'd blog about pregnancy. Nada. About Campbell's first year. Second year. Neither one.
It took that awful "pop" that you always hear as the telltale sign that you screwed up your knee - bad - for me to finally start a blog.
Not that I'm expecting this to become a best-seller or anything. Like many others (you might be included), I'm starting this to keep everyone updated on the progress that I am expecting - or the lack of progress that I don't expect. The doctor tells me it's going to be 6-9 months until I'm back on skis. And darn-it-all, I am determined to at least make that goal.
Welcome to my wild ride.

If the blog is going to be half as good as the writing you did while you were at the common-wealth games, we're in for a treat! But for starters, good luck! About the 6-9 months, that is average... as far as I remember you don't do average! Hang in there, and hope that all in the end will go smoothly! Cheers, Michel
